As a Tech, and someone who used Kaspersky for years. I took it upon myself to test out the viability of UltraAV mobile app and Ultra Secure AV. Findings: 3 other mobile apps couldnt find the intentionally ed malware programs that UltraAV just found. Also, I put through the ringer Ultra Secure AV testing it out with 32,000 different malware and viruses. It picked up 31,788. Compared to other brands, one leading that failed to pick up more than 23,480. Conclusion? Kaspersky in disguise.

As with other reviews, this app basically stopped responding. It is stuck in an update first reading 0% and then 100%. Forced stop the app and deleted data and cache and tried again to no avail. Un-installed and reinstalled the app with the same results. Such a horrible replacement for Kaspersky. Will be searching for another app as soon as I'm done typing this. In all fairness, the version for Windows is functional, but far from anything that Kaspersky was.

Absolute junk. Won't even scan databases since right after Thanksgiving. I've uninstalled and reinstalled more than once. I've also cleared the cache(s) and rebooted my android phone more than once. I got fed up and ed them. They suggested trying to and install their new yet to be released version by going through the we transfer app. Chrome wouldn't let me open it. I momentarily turned off my auto blocker, and it still wouldn't open it. Thinking about checking into Bit Defender.

Seems like good av software and kaspersky recommends, so it must be decent. But the android and Windows versions neither have performance issues fixes like kaspersky and lots of other available software. Something for the development team to think about. It's awful expensive just for the few features you get with av. Haven't tried the VPN yet but will update on that later. So update on the VPN the speeds aren't the best could use some improvements.

Can't say I'm pleased with this transition from Kaspersky. This app is very stripped down and does not offer anywhere close to the features that were available with Kaspersky. It also does not appear to have active scanning. Unlikely I'll be keeping it when my subscription expires baring some big updates and added functionality. Oh and the VPN is a separate app you have to subscribe to there is no VPN in this app.

I miss Kaspersky! Ultra AV is garbage. It does not have near the options Kaspersky had. Customer service is a joke. Right now, I can't even get on their site to update my virus database. And I have to manually do that! The VPN and watch are separate from ultraAV. They are not all packaged in one neat app. like Kaspersky. I will not be renewing with them. All the negative reviews are true. I don't t even want to give them 1 star. Don't know what kaspersky was thinking about giving us this.

Transfered from kapersky to this, immediately uninstalled it on my pc due to it taking 80% of my brand new pc's power at all hours regardless of whether it was actually doing anything or just idle. There are no automatic scans on the phone, and I just tried to run one. It has been stuck at 0% update for 3 hours. Done with this

Freezes on Android during updates. Seems ok on PC but does not scan even 40% of my files. Yes it is set on deep scan/ all files. Looking for a replacement. Kaspersky was too good for our government to get away with any intrusive snooping. Disappointed with this as a recommended replacement.
