I ed this to check the glycemic levels in foods but ended up never using it for that purpose. Instead, I use it to record my blood pressure so that when it's sky high at the doctor's office I can show them how low it is at home 😂 I also record my weight in this.

Very quick and easy app to use. Very handy if you are watching sugar intake (diet, health, both). The free version shows the Glycemic Index of the food item, & it's all colour coded like traffic lights so very quick to scroll or search for the food you want - & see if it's a good choice! For those who want to eat a low-carb lifestyle and also watching the impact of carbs for health reasons, the app now includes the option to make a one time payment to see the Glycemic Load of food. I love it!

I've begun using this app to help bring my T2D under control. The various screens are visually stunning and indicate excellent programming skill and attention to detail. It make entering data easy. I ran into some problems initially due to another app, ed the developer who responded almost immediately and worked with me until it was resolved. A First Class Act if there ever was one! I can't recommend it and the developer strongly enough. Truly deserving of encouragement and ! 👍

The following is my opinion based on my experience. The application is not all that useful as it's just a list of foods with GI. But, you can't really tell if that is similar to the food you eat. I didn't check out the weight tracker and food journal functions because I'm currently using MyFitnessPal for these functions. The ads were so annoying and intrusive that I quickly uninstalled the application.

This has changed a lot over the years. I recall paying for this but I haven't used it much. Now it's all focused. The UI is confusing. The functions are confusing (just like they were years ago), the side menu is ugly and shoves registration under your nose. Basic backup is restricted to s. Can I just export to my device or cloud service like every other damn app these days? No? Did I overlook something?

My doctor uses this app and showed me. The free version is helpful for deciding what foods to cook. The color coding is great! price is very fair. Update: Food is listed in grams by default: I changed to ounces. Search is tricky. Tip: Search one-word whole food. The developer can step you through any confusion. Glad I asked for help! Ads: if I click for more info or other features, it jumps to a medical website. Confusing! But nothing the developer can help.

Edit: thanks for clarifying. Sorry I confused it with GL which it seems is not available. There's just not enough in the free version to make it useful for me but someone else that needs an app to calculate BMI might like it. I don't need a glucose tracker. I was just interested in investigating my GL. All the extra features should be in the version and a basic GL tracker should be free, if that's what the app's primary purpose, since it's called that. The index by iteself is not hugely useful. My rating is for the free version only. It seems s are more satisfied. Old review: The table doesn't display the quantity of food its for so it's pretty useless as a reference table. If you're going to make that one table available for free at least let it be useful. It's really all I wanted. Not really interested in pretty charts and a weight tracker right now so deleted it. Sorry.

I paid for the full version so I can put as many values as I need to in a day. So many many great things about this app! If you test often enough it gives you an accurate a1c prediction. I could choose my own appropriate glucose levels for various testing times and circumstances. The graphing is great. Along with ability to make a note as to why your numbers are what they are. The blood pressure part is useful as is the weight and measurements. I can my data or hand my phone to the Dr.
