The Neo Smart Blinds App is designed to work with the Smart Controller, allowing you to pair, control, and automate compatible 433.92MHz motorized blinds from over 20 brands. The app offers custom instructions and control options that match the specific features ed by each blind brand.

Major motorized blind brands and retailers have partnered with us to provide their own setup codes, customizing the app experience and making the pairing process easier.

Which Setup Code Should I Use?
We recommend using the setup code provided by your blind retailer. This ensures a simplified pairing process with a tailored list of options. If you purchased your Smart Controller from a different retailer and no setup code was provided, you can set up your using the SBH20 setup code.

Update: while limits to features still exist, was vey helpful and generous with their time to explain the challenges. They also gave me a workaround to address a specific scenario I was trying to accomplish. Also, I found my concerns are known issues that are actively being worked and they were courteous enough to give me an update. The interface, usability, and stability of the app is well done and the team seems to run a pretty solid operation. Looking forward to the updates!

Like other reviews have stated, the problem lies with this app and/or hub. It sends the signal to the hub and blinds but never checks the state of the blinds. So most of the time, there's always one to three blinds that don't respond to the commands. The remote control works flawlessly every time. Which leads me to believe it's this app that's the problem.

I've had 12 blinds for 2 months now. Pairing worked pretty well. Scheduled automation typically works, but is unreliable (50% of days, 1-2 fail). It's like the hub asks the blinds to lower, but doesn't check if it worked/retry. There's no way on the app to check the blinds' states. It tracks sunrise/sunset, but was an hour off after daylight savings time (I'm in CST). Top down/bottom up sometimes randomly closes with mode "3" resulting in the whole stack lowering and the blind staying open.

Very easy to use and setup, works as d! Only 4 stars because the sunrise/set feature doesn't work unless you allow the app to constantly run geo in the background. I tried 'only while using the app ' and the sunrise schedule didn't work. This is ridiculous because the app has my city)state. The sunrise/set feature could easily work if the company wanted it to without the Geo location turned on. Instead, you must use data and drain your battery for the feature to work, no thanks.

I have been in IT since 1967. This app is very well thought out, designed and implemented. Documentation online and within the app is also very good, it is clear and concise and well organized. Most of the app is intuitive and thought so far we've used it for blinds, it perfectly handles TD/BU (Top Down/Bottom Up) blinds which are more complex from an automation perspective. Highly recommended.

The schedules only let you configure schedules per room, not per blind in the room. I have dual roller shades and I want to set different open/close schedules for the front and back rollers but I can't unless I tell the app they're in different rooms even though they're physically on the same window. Scenes mitigate this somewhat, but you can't set a schedule on a scene. The app also doesn't have a dark mode, it only has eye stab mode.

8/5/24 update. Moved to 4 stars. Issue was fixed. App could use a modern refresh in general and the button to control up and down could be larger. Even though my region is set correctly once dst occurred last weekend the blinds no longer follow the proper sunrise and sunset schedules.
