Boring, senseless, dull, slow, etc. Inaccurate metric measurments. Time clock is usually off by at least 100%, level progression inconsistent, stars given for who knows what? Graphics are from the 90's. I just used it for 30 mins, the brains at this place measured 1 min. 🤔 Both "brain" and "HQ" do not seem to apply for this app. This app is for brain health. I hope some healthy brains are found to fix it.

Brain hq Pc online version is excellent. This app is buggy and infuriating. I will give specific examples. First of all, the face to face game is a joke, I have multiple screenshots of the "matching" faces demonstrating completely different expressions. Second of all, the game optical flow just does not work. Thirdly, I need to continually tap my phone while playing true North because for some reason my phone goes to sleep while I'm playing the game.

Most of the levels don't give instructions. If you click on the "i" icon, it shows nothing. The audio is all the way up, and there aren't spoken instructions, eitger. So you're guessing at what the rules are, even in sessions where is says the rules change each level. Wouldn't considet paying for the subscription version because of this.

The exercises are excellent; very effective. One can exercise as you feel and have time; for a few minutes or for an hour a day. One gets out of it what you put in. The app is not yet perfect, but is functional. It has a few bugs. The 5 stars are for the exercises. The app I would rate at 3 stars. You can do the exercises in a browser online. I only use the app. With appreciation to the developers of the exercises! (The developers of the app have work to do.)

Perhaps I'm not being fair, but compared to Elevate and Lumosity, this game is terrible. With the free version, you can only play one game once daily; hardly enough to figure out if the paid version is worth it. Regarding having to pay, the graphics are really weak. Additionally, some games do not play properly acording to instructions (as noted in other reviews) which adds even more frustration. This really could use improvement if it wants to keep up with it's competitors.

I was having fun until I got to this butterfly game where you have to butterflies by color. The colors are pale pink, pale purple, and pale blue. I have color-deficient vision, a red-green colorblindness, and the butterfly colors are indiscernable to me. The exercise is unplayable. I had to close the app in frustration. Needs a colorblind mode. EDIT: They have since updated the game and made all of the butterflies more visually distinct via their patterning, as well as color scheme. <3

Best of all the brain training options for actual results and most activities based on hard science and very well targeted on specific skills. However, one or two of the activities just don't work on a mobile platform eg rhythm recall is hopelessly compromised on a touch screen interface. Devs please it defeat on this one and get rid of it!

App needs work. Doctor recommended website, so ed the app. App switches screen direction when it's not normal to do so, then only one way, not the way I prefer. App says my answers are wrong when they were right, and doesn't give me enough time to tap the other side of the screen (I play 1 fingered). Uninstalling and going back to website to train.
