I don't like the present version at all. I use the app to purchase my tickets and up until this version, the app automatically inserts the start location when I want to validate my ticket. Now it requires additional clicks to specify the location. I find the app is slower than the previous version and doesn't work as smoothly as the previous version. I recently got a fine because the validation took longer than the ride to the next station, which didn't happen before.

Latest update has rendered the app next to useless. Like another , I had to revert to a paper ticket for the first time in about 5 years, and a week later I still cannot activate any (previously purchased) tickets. And the process of getting to that point has also got way more cumbersome, when before it was a streamlined few clicks. Needs an update to fix these issues and those noted by other s asap.

Update 10.2024: The best way to fix their annoying location integration and slow search is to remove the location permission from the app. This way you don't have to wait for the lookup and you can enter the start location as before. General: App is barely usable since the update. The map overlay is useless and the location lookup for every search makes the app slow and almost useless. The product development seems to ignore all experience for meaningless features.

Terrible app. Bought tickets keep disappearing. We were just stopped by two controllers, and weren't able to show our tickets. We showed the email confirmation received after the purchase, but it wasn't accepted. They told is it happens often (!!!). They made us disembark the train in front of everyone. Update: tickets were not showing, because the app keeps logging you off from your profile, and there is no easy way to find out it happened. 🤬🤬

I'm sorry to say this, but using your app has become a major pain. I want to use it to get real time info on future rides. The map and the automatic location reading is just getting in the way. Please make it possible to favourite entire routes again instead of the one-sided location to destination searches. You are optimising the whole program for a niche group, and not the actual Berliners.

Previously I could buy my favorite tickets in a few clicks and activate with even less effort. Now it feels like a 250IQ quest ending up in travel planner 80% of time and tons of additional taps. I feel like I'm on a real " journey". Such things should be EASY! First time in 5 years when I thought that buying a paper ticket would be a better thing to do.

Let me open the app with the list in fullscreen view by default. Why would I want to see the map by default. Do you even use your own app? Swapping start and destination after years of muscle memory is also INFURIATING. It's almost like your goal was to make the UX worse. Also back button completely closes the station drawer so app needs to be force closed. What a joke

Buying a ticket requires more steps than before the new version. Click on starting point doesn't offer the closest station, you have to click the icon additionally. The default number of tickets to buy is 0, means I have to select 1 every time. It would be nice if I could pick the homescreen since I don't need the map but tickets to buy...too many clicks and unnecessary steps, pls consider this as a feature request, ty
