I love the new task reminder feature and that you can collect your plants now! The identification feature has worked quite well for me aside from a few exceptions. I do wish there was more plant-specific diseases or noted risks with plants for the free version, but it's a good starting point to researching and understanding your plant (especially those that were gifts or unlabeled on purchase). If there was a lifetime instead of a monthly subscription, I would buy it immediately!

I ed Leaf stamp annually. When I got a new phone, leafsnap started charging monthly, and I started getting ads. We have been trying to close the hip but have been charged twice again. Although I liked the app, Google Lense is a better choice and free! 😉 We are still trying to get out of Leaf Snap, after 3 months of being charged $4.38, and still getting LOTS of ads! 😠

It used to work pretty good and amount of ads was manageable. Now it somehow doesn't work that well in recognizing plants and amount of ads become unmanageable. You have to carefully look on the screen to figure out how to remove ad to get to functionality you installed this app for. Removing it after a few years of use - there are a lot of much better free alternatives.

Used to love it, now it's useless...The new database for the free app, is pitiful. You all it it, by saying "to increase accuracy, pay blah blah blah". I've used the app for YEARS, waited for a better database to consider buying the app. Yall said with people's input, new pics and identification, it'll get better with time. But recently, the results are completely inaccurate, pulling up species not even resembling the pictures. it's a disgrace and deserves to be deleted.

I'm very upset. I am a paid subscriber and have 4 more months on my subscription but am practically held hostage with confusing ads and making me re-subscribe now for an additional 4 months. No way! The ads are much worse and impossible to get through than they were before I ordered a subscription. Ive uninstalled and re-installed but am still plagued with ads. I am probably going to unsubsidized permanently. This is unfortunate,the app did serve me well for a few years and I have a saved list

Edit 7/2/25 best plant app by a long way! Lots of reliable information. Pictures are high quality. Easy to use. Would be great if had one off lifetime price instead of yearly🙏 will prob buy full version when I can afford it! Can you make it so I can edit date and time of entries please? So I can load photos in my plants today and change the date to when the photo was originally taken? 🙏🙏🙏 Overall a brilliant app! I use it everyday! Thank you for creating and sharing this app with us all ; )

Total BS app, there is no free trial and when you scan a plant it just gives you a long list of generic possible problems. I had to put in for a refund. Nothing but a scam.

It was fine until the recent upgrade, now when I go to my plants all I get is a blank screen. And the keyboard on my smartphone completely covers the name of the plant so it's REALLY difficult to rename a plant. UPDATE: Really quick response from . Thanks for the super fast fix. 👍 I have a lot of houseplants, 80 at the last count. I've asked a few times for the daily tasks for watering to be listed alphabetically but no response received, hence taking off a couple of stars.
